Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast, and captain for her team in the US female Olympic gymnastics Team 2012 Fierce Five and in the year 2016. the Final Five. At the 2012 Olympics she was awarded gold both on the team floor and the individual competitions. The bronze was won by using the balance bar. This made her the first American gymnast in the Olympics to win the most medals. The gold medal was hers in the team event at the 2016 Olympics that made her and Gabby Douglas the first Americans to be the first pair of gold medalists back-to-back. Additionally, she was awarded silver medals at the all-around event as well as floor workouts. She took a three-year break between each Olympics from competing gymnastics. In addition, she was part of two world championship gold teams. She learned gymnastics from the age of two and her most loved event is Floor Exercise. Aly participates in The Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization to honor and remember her mother. She plans to pursue a career as a designer. She hopes to pursue growing her line of leotards. Fierce - a novel she is writing will come out this year.
